Still in the midst of the hugely successful ‘Crazy World’ album project alongside the legendary J Majik, Wickaman has found time in his hectic schedule to drop a couple of bangers on his own Black Widow imprint. Following the re-issue of SPIDER009 comes, well, SPIDER010 with another pair of rib cracking speaker busters! Teaming up with the deadly Hoodlum, Wickaman drops a slick dancefloor favourite on ‘Freedom’. Punchy beats and grinding bass are washed over with a euphoric sounding vocal which ties the whole piece together nicely. ‘Dead By Dawn’ on the other hand takes things on a serious old skool tip, skippy breakbeats with chopped Amen edits and rising bass notes. Anyting test dead? Certainly bloody does mate!
