	dgoHn (say ‘John’) – the man with the most challenging name in Drum & Bass makes some of the most challenging beats too. “Elle” starts off serenely enough but suddenly builds into a crescendo of crashing beats, reverberating bass and chiming …… chimes ! With some guest vocals from his unsuspecting sister this is a masterclass in balancing the rough with the smooth. Mary Anne Hobbs certainly thinks so and has played it on her BBC1 show and Chris Inperspective calls it “disgusting” … see what you think. The aptly titled “Rhythmic Movement Disorder” breathes some fresh life into the ‘Funky Mule’ break and marries it to a whole host of bleeps and oddness. Time to get twitchy on the dancefloor ! The rolling brushes and a pulsing bass of “Man Bith” are made for a head nodding finale but every so often you’re jerked out of your comfort zone by reversing rhythms or a complete tempo shift, so stay alert
