Since his infamous anthem ‘Ding Dong Bass’ hit the vinyl buying public way back in the mid ‘90s, Sappo has been a household name amongst the Raving massive. Over the years many more classics have dropped from Sappo’s studios into the record bags and dodgy car stereos of D&B fans worldwide. His popularity is confirmed by his stint as host of BBC 1xtra’s Mix Show, where Sappo regularly showcased the very best in underground Drum & Bass. Now Sappo is ready to showcase another torrent of talent with his latest project ‘Mixtape Impossible’ a Drum & Bass blend with all the subversive attitude of a Hip Hop mixtape. ‘Mixtape Impossible’ features a bundle of new, and not so new artists, including Bailey, A Guy Called Gerald, Crissy Criss, A Sides, DJ Evol and Connecta to name but a few.
