After a stunning release from Sabre which went in at no.7 in the Radio 1 DnB charts, we head back over to the lowlands for this tasty little 2 tracker. Icicle & Switch are the most exciting producers to come out of Holland since Noisia broke through. Switch made his debut on Lucky Devil with “Still Waters” and has since got some serious support from the likes of Marcus Intalex, LTJ Bukem & Fabio. Icicle has also been doing some serious damage with music on Med School, Critical & Fokuz. Alter:Native is none other than one of the scene’s biggest producers right now, who has adopted this pseudonym to showcase some of his new material.“Call Girl” has been getting a good seeing to from all those who’ve had it on dub, and we’ve had DJ’s calling at all hours of the night trying to get a bit of this sleazy slice of wax. Some pure, grimy sonic wizardry from this dream team, complete with bone-shaking subs and icy atmospherics.“Do I Move You” displays the diversity of Icicle & Switch’s talents, combining crisp beats and watertight production with subtle touches that give the track that soulful edge.
