Part 4 already – and Medschool is really getting ill! Flying Dutchman Jeroen Snik hasn’t been making music long, but the quality he displays in these two nuggets is enough to make you believe he’s a true production veteran. Taking inspiration from the dirty basslines of the likes of Jonny L and Optical and the intricate drum patterns of Photek & Source Direct, Icicle has come up with just the tonic as he gives Medschool some Dutch courage! “So Close” has had huge support so far from the likes of Bailey, Flight and D Bridge as its rasping synths and subtly swung breaks snarl at you from behind a bubbling Bristolian bassline that will get any dancefloor rocking. “Numbers” on the flip is a chameleon of a tune, which would fit nicely into a rolling swerve set on a Wednesday just as much as it would fit into a big rave set at Hospitality at Heaven, this is the genius behind the Ice man’s medschool productions.
