Heist is an artist who's profile has been growing steadily over the past couple of years, and with releases forthcoming on Full Cycle, Metalheadz and Digital Soundboy, it's obvious this is a producer who knows his beats.It's not very often that Grid do double a-side releases but when Heist made these two smashers there was no choice in the matter!l'Iron Hide' shows that Heist and Twisted share a passion for Transformers as well as d&b (check Twisteds back cat), this tight roller is simple and effective with a head nodding bassline and neat sound effects played by Nicky Blackmarket, Zinc, Grooverider, Twisted Individual, Brockie and many more.l'Stone Cold' is a bruiser of a track, deceptively soothing intro gives way to lashing drums and soeaker pushing bass, the clever edits keep it interesting as well as making for a fierce dancefloor mover.
