Originally released on a limited 10” back in 1996, the Urban Shakedown remix of “Abandon Me” Yazz was a massive club hit. The production was done at a similar time to all the Mickey Finn & Aphrodite classics like “No Diggity”, “Jungle Brother” and of course “Bad Ass”. It is widely regarded as an equal to such hits, which as you all know by now sell constantly and are likely to continue doing so. Finally we’ve been able to get this one available again, it only took about 10 years to get back on wax, for a lot of people the patience will finally be paying off. This is a classic, even if some have forgotten they will be stirred as soon as they realise what this is.
