DNA steps back in this summer with their first release in some time. This second instalment comes from a new artist DJ Quantize. Sides A & B show the deepness of Quantize's music and production. Look out for much more to come from this artist, who continues to develop his unique sound in preparation for future releases on DNA Recordings. A side: 'Zombie's haunting intro and 'euro' styled sounds lead to a deep tribal led roller…is this trance on steroids, or some futuristic heavyweight ambient Jungle or is there no way of typecasting this type of D&B yet…listen to make your own opinion. AA side: 'Blue' blends both analogue & synthetic sounds perfectly to lead this piece of music to its drop. Simple in design & arrangement, Quantize's sound is consistent. His use of atmospheric sounds & deep dubwise basslines are trademarks that signify his sound & Blue does not stray from these musical attributes.
