Gain Recordings latest onslaught on the senses sees international trio, Harm come through with the dancefloor stomper – Scary. Instantly recognisable, this track has caused a riot in its dubplate rounds, with play from all the scene’s biggest players, and a feature on Mary Ann Hobbs BBC Radio 1 Breezeblock show to boot. The trio, who consist of Diode, Cooh and Oddity – have been making marks all over the scene in their individual guises on many labels, with most recently Cooh signing to Trouble on Vinyl. The trio embody just how international and technologically advanced the scene is, with each member hailing from a different corner of the globe. Big things for Harm – watch this space! On the flipside, bass hooligans Audio & Mackie (two thirds of Resonant Evil) take to the track with a sledgehammer – giving it the remix treatment. Unlike most remixes this one tears up the original and spits it out.
