Now this is an original if ever we’ve heard one, a full vocal Jump Up track that utilises a half tempo Rock style intro and breakdown, with full on D&B madness after the drop. Sounds like it could either be the worst idea ever or the work of a twisted genius… fortunately enough, it works pretty well and this track will smash up any Jump Up loving dancefloor you care to drop it on. Taking it back to the roots, ‘In Da Hood’ brings some gangsta flavour with sweeping synth lines, rolling, metallic drums and more gunshots than a Tarantino flick.
