The sampler to Spearhead's brand new compilation album 'Moodswings' is here and what a beast it is too, promising plenty of good things for the coming LP. Nu:Tone starts things off by getting to grips with Lenzman's 'Caught Up', smoothly changing the original up into a subtle bass-led roller with plenty of weight in the low end. A Sides, one of D&B's longest serving soldiers, gets glossy on the flip with the extremely funky 'Lustrous' a gorgeous roller complete with LFO warps and subtle Amen embellishments. 'Moodswings' is already looking good! Look out for the impressive compilation album from Spearhead Recordings, set to drop in March of this year.
