Amaning is a producer that has been slowly but surely working his way up the d&b ladder over the last couple of years, and with the recent release of Smash on Marcus Intalex’s Soul:R label it’s not hard to see why. So when you team him up with the musical ability of Chicago’s Stunna you know you are in for a treat. Just A Dream sucks you in with its depth and warmth as the lush atmospheric pads almost surround you, before dropping into an infectious bass line that gives this track the magic touch. On the flip Amaning & Stunna take things that little bit harder in the form of Mutual Life. All in all one supurb debut for this duo on Future Retro.
